Pera is a premium Turkish Grill & Shisha Lounge in the heart of Rosebank, Johannesburg. We set out to capture the feeling of a Beyoğlu evening — the aroma of charcoal, the glow of low light, and the slow, generous rhythm of a meal shared among friends.
Our kitchen is built around the open mangal and a stone oven, where lamb, beef and chicken are grilled to order and flatbreads emerge blistered and golden. Around it sits a lounge made for lingering — Turkish coffee, çay and shisha under soft amber light.
Heritage
Recipes carried from Anatolia — kebabs, mezze and pide made the way they have been for generations.
